Cultural Festival 2024

Introduction:

Culture is the identity of a community. Traditional songs, dances, costumes, folk tales, rituals, and indigenous knowledge are slowly disappearing due to modernization.

Objectives:

• To protect and promote traditional culture and heritage
• To encourage youth participation in cultural activities
• To revive folk arts, music, dance, and local traditions

Activities Conducted:

• Performance of traditional folk dances and songs
• Exhibition of traditional dress, tools, and handicrafts
• Storytelling sessions by village elders
• Cultural competitions for children and youth

Outcome:

Increased interest among children and youth in traditional culture. Revival of forgotten folk songs and dances.
